Biography

The 1911 census shows the family of David Benjamin Davies, 54, living in Blaengarw. His wife was Rachel, 51, and children (all born in Blaengarw) were Beatrice Maud Davies, 22, John Henry Davies, 19, Taliesen James Davies, 16, and Gwenfron Davies, 12.

A family letter dated 1945 indicates that Gwenfron's married name was "Pask" and that she was living in Blaengarw at that time.

Findmypast shows that Gwenfron Davies and James A. Pask match entries in an index of 1918 marriages. They were married in Bridgend, Glamorganshire (in the same area as Blaengarw).

There is a Gwenfron Pash recorded in the 1921 census living with James Archibald Pash in "Tythegston Lower, Laleston."

There is a death registration of a "Gwenfrom Pask" that gives her birth on 14 May 1898 and death in 1980 in Ogwr.
