The Seringapatam left Bristol the 7th of October and arrived at the Cape of Good Hope on the 4th of December. She was detained by contrary winds in Table Bay until the 16th of December, and made the passage to Port Phillip Heads in 34 days, during the first 23 of which she averaged above 180 miles per diem. [5]
