Biography

Jean Baptiste Phenix dit Dauphine was born on 16 July 1725 in Repentigny, Montreal, Canada, New France, son of François Fenis dit Dauphiné and Madeleine Gadiou.[1]


He married Marie Francoise Louise Sicard on 7 June 1751 at Saint-François-Xavier-de-Verchères.[2]

He died on February 22, 1805 at Yamaska, Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada. He was buried the next day on February 23, 1805 at Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska, Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada. [3]
