Biography

Martha Louise Darnall was born on 24 Jan 1925 in Wabash, Wabash, Indiana, USA as the daughter of Maynard Carver Darnall (1887-abt.1949) and Edna (Hunt) Gibson (1893-1974).^[1][2]

In 1930 Martha (5) and three siblings - Maynard Carver Darnall (abt.1917-) (13), Marietta (Darnall) Schilling (1920-1985) (10), and Dorothy Eleanor (Darnall) Jones (1927-2019) (2) were living with their parents in Crawfordsville, Montgomery, Indiana where her father worked as Principal of a high school.^[3]

Martha married Ralph R Bozell at the First Methodist Church in Crawfordsville about 24 Jun 1947^[2] .^[4]

Martha, a graduate of Purdue University, was past president of the Birmingham-Bloomfield Alumni Ass. of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and past board member of the Lost Lake Woods Club. ^[5]

Martha Louise Darnall Bozell (59), of Rochester, died on Saturday, about 14 Apr 1984, at her home. Funeral services were held at 11 AM Tues. at the Episcopal church of the Advent, 3325 Middlebelt, Orchard Lake. Survivors were her husband, Ralph; three sons - Ralph Bozell, Robert Bozell and William Bozell; two sisters, a brother and three grandchildren. ^[5]

Last substantiation of her name at Social Security shows date of 29 Dec 1987.^[2]
