Biography
Rosalie was born February 4th 1794, she was the daughter of Alexis Danis and his wife Scholastique Girouard. She was baptized the next day in St-Laurent de Montréal, godparents were Joseph Monet and Rosalie Girouard. [1]
On July 29th 1811, in St-Eustache, Patric Drouin adult son of Louis Drouin and Josephe Verdon married Rosalie Danis minor daughter of Alexis Danis and Scholastique Girouard. Several named relatives were witness, signature of Scolastique Danis only. [2]
Rosalie Danis, widow of Patrice Drouin, died suddenly February 24th 1869 at the age of 75 years. An inquiry was held on February 26th which determined she died of a ruptured liver abcess. She was buried February 27th 1869 in Sainte-Scholastique de Mirabel. Two signatures: Janvier Drouin and Alexis Drouin, likely her sons. [3]
