Biography

Mary Dane was born about 1636, daughter of John Dane and his first wife Eleanor Clark, who first settled at Roxbury, Massachusetts but removed to Ipswich, Massachusetts by 1636. ^{[1] [2]}

Mary married William Chandler Jr. of Andover on 24 August 1658. ^{[3] [1]} Her husband William was baptized on 20 May 1636 at Bishops Stortford, the son of William and Agnes/Annis (Bayford) Chandler. ^[4]

Mary died at Andover Massachusetts on 10 May 1679. ^[3] Mary Clark Chandler was mentioned on a memorial in South Church Cemetery, Andover, Essex County, Massachusetts, United States with a death date of 10 May 1679.^[5]

Five months after the death of his first wife, William Chandler married Bridget Henchman on 8 October 1679. ^{[3] [6]}

William died at Andover in 1698. ^{[4] [7]}
