Emily Elizabeth (Croker) Walsh was born on 18 Oct 1870 in Binalong, New South Wales, Australia^[1], daughter of James Croker (1836 - 1896) and Emily Caroline (Evans) Croker (1844 - 1919).

Emily married Charles Alfred Jeffery (1867 - 1926) on 5 Jan 1890 in Burrowa, New South Wales. ^[2]

THE BURROWA NEWS, NEW SOUTH WALES - Friday 8 July^[7]

The late Mrs Walsh married three times, and from her first marriage to Mr Charles Jeffrey, who predeceased her some 21 years ago, she reared a family of 13 children. Later she married Mr Mark Apps of Ruby, who predeceased her about 5 years ago, and then to Mr Joseph Walsh of Boorowa who survives her. From these two marriages there were no issues.

The late Mrs Walsh is survived by five sons and four daughters, name Bill (Boogabillea); Jack (Charlesville, Queensland); Sandy (Maitland); Dick (Brisbane), Jerry (Boorowa); and daughters Emila (Mrs G Gardner, Gunnedah); Bertha (Mrs R Shields, Cabramatta); Kate (Mrs M Davis, Queensland); Ruby (Mrs J Davis, Moree).

Three sons, Tom, Ned (killed in 1914 war) and Charles, and one daughter Emily (Mrs G Law) predeceased her.
