Thomas Crewe was born on the 11th December 1833, in Manchester Street Particular Baptist, Oldham, Lancashire, England, the fourth child, eldest son of Welsh born John Crewe (a shoemaker), and Yorkshire born Elizabeth Preston.^[1]

Thomas had two older sisters—Mary, born 10th October 1829, and Sarah Ann, born 14th October 1832.^[2][3] (There had also been another sister, Ann (born 29th January 1831), but she had died just before Thomas was born.)^[4][5]

Thomas Crewe died young.

Thomas Crewe passed away in October 1834, barely ten months old, and was buried at the Chapel Of Oldham, Lancaster County, England, on the 7th October 1834, Oldham, Lancaster, England.^[6]
