Biography

Alice was born in 1285. Elizabeth Cressingham ... [1]

Copinger discusses the family under Cowling in his Manors of Suffolk.[2]

Gage also discusses her in his work concerning the Hundred of Thingoe, but he refers to a document which calls her Alice.[3] In his pedigree he reports her still being alive as a widow in 1339.[4]

Obviously the same person as her husband's "other" wife.

Seems to be confusion here. Currently we show her marrying her sister's son, but pedigrees seem to show that lady as Alice, not Elizabeth. https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=nyp.33433004951343;view=1up;seq=89 https://archive.org/stream/cu31924092579584#page/n215/mode/2up

Perhaps should be Alice, not Elizabeth. https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=nyp.33433004951343;view=1up;seq=89 https://archive.org/stream/cu31924092579584#page/n215/mode/2up . (Currently we show a sister named Alice, marrying her son, which seems odd.)

Cressingham-1 and De Cressingham-3 appear to represent the same person because: Obviously meant to be the same, but there might need to be some cross checking on correct details. (So please do not revert the merge proposal unless it really looks like a mistake.)
