- 1961 Dec 22 obituary, Russell C. Cox, 53 years old, former pharmacist at Hook's Eighth and Main streets drugstore here, died Wednesday in Eaton, Indiana, where he had owned the Cox Rexall drugstore since 1944. Surviving is the widow, Mrs. Agnes Cox; two daughters, Mrs. Billy Rector, Muncie. Joanna Kay Cox, student at Ball State Teacher's college; two brothers, Fred of Rossville, Indiana, and Ray of Marion, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Faye Neal of Los Angeles, California. Mrs. Fran Leighton of Seattle, Washington and Mrs. Ray Collins of Mishawaka, Indiana, and two grandchildren. Services for Mr. Cox will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Eaton Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Eaton Methodist church. Burial will be in Union cemetery, Eaton. Friends may call at the Pitman funeral home in Eaton.
