  • 2002 Find A Grave bio, Obit: Raymond Paul Cox, 88, of Frankfort and North Port, Florida, died January 25, 2002, in Florida. Mr. Cox graduated from Rossville High School in 1931. He had been resident manager of the chief Ohio operations of Bendix Aviation Corp. and Bendix Home Appliances, and director of manufacturing in Marion, Ohio, and Danville, Kentucky, for Whirlpool Corp., retiring in 1975. Mr. Cox had been an executive vice president of the Danville, Kentucky chamber of commerce; a past president of Central Ohio Traffic Association, Danville Lions Club, Delta Nu Alpha Traffic Fraternity, Marion Exchange Club and Frankfort Optimist Club; a member of Boyle County, Kentucky, Human Relation Committee and Frankfort Trinity United Methodist Church; and a chairman of Marion, Ohio, Airport Commission. He also was a 32nd Degree Mason, a past patron of Order of Eastern Star and a past watchman of the Shepherds of the White Shrine. He was born in 1913 in Clinton County. He married Mary Kathlyn Goldsberry in 1935, and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Judith Ann White of New Haven, Kentucky and Jacqueline Kay Neat of Taylorsville, Kentucky: four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
