Hi Kevin, it's been eleven days since I asked if your still interested in the US Civil War Project. I'll assume if I haven't heard from you in the next ten days that your interest in the project has changed, and I'll remove your badge. I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.

Hello, Kevin!

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Hi, I accepted the merge for Brady Mason, and I added a pic of Brady I have. I haven't been on this site in a while, thanks for the reminder that it's here. Can I ask, what is your connection to the Masons? I ask because Thomas Powers, grandfather of Brady is my hardest brick wall and I'm always hoping someone has some info on him.

Let me know if you need more info the Masons, I know a few siblings of William Henry moved down to the Birmingham area and worked in the steel plants and the family stayed close.

Hi Jeri, I'm still learning about the WikiTree site and haven't yet started transferring information back to my Ancestry.com tree, but am finding a lot of new information on my people. I did look up Brady in my tree and found that we are connected through his paternal great grandmother, Sarah Bradley (3G grandmother) and then Mahenry Arrington (4G grandmother). The only Powers that I show in my tree is his mom, Rebecca Emaline. Sorry I couldn't be any help.

Thanks so much for looking, I'll keep digging on the Powers wall :)

I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message.  Sometimes links don't work in emails.  If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
