Biography

Charles Garrison Covert, was born on 30 Sep. 1816.^[1]

He married Nancy Leonora Aldrich, daughter of Henry Aldrich. Nancy died on 8 April 1845 aged only 22 years and a few days. ^[2]

A son Underhill J Covert b 19 Oct 1841: 29 March 1864 Civil War, 26 April 1863 appt'd Corporal. Was transferred from Co F to Co E in 10th Battalion. ^[3]

He married 2nd to Elizabeth Welch ^[1]

Charles G Covert died on 24 Nov. 1873 and was buried at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings County (Brooklyn), New York. His memorial has photos and links to those of family members.^[1]
