Biography

Anita was born in 1936, to Sarah Law and Erwin Coons.[1]. They lived in Poughkeepsie, New York during her childhood.[2] She attended college in Plattsburgh, NY, graduating with a school nurse teaching degree in 1958. She met Donald Buckner while he was attending West Point Academy and they married in June of 1958. Two children were born to the union. They divorced in 1977, following a separation of two years.[3] She passed away in 2001,[4] and her cremains were buried with her parents' at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.[5]
