MARRIAGE:[3] FITZMAURICE—COOK.—On 27th October, at Latrobe, by the Rev. J. Noone, William, third son of the late F. Fitzmaurice, of Deloraine, to Ellen, second daughter of Henry Cook, of Sassafras.

See death of mother 1903: Messers William, John and James Cook, of Sheffield, and Mr. H. Cook of Dunorlan, are sons of the family, and there are also four daughters, Mrs. F. Tyler (Sheffield), Mrs Fitzmaurice, and Mrs Plumley (Kimberley) and Mrs G. Bourke (Sassafras).[4]

1909: SHEFFIELD Police Court. — At the Court on Monday, […] Mrs Fitzmaurice, wife of William Fitzmaurice, got an order for £1 per week for maintenance.[5]

23 Dec 1916: Telegram to Mrs. E. Fitzmaurice, Kimberley: Regret reported son Private Henry J. Fitzmaurice dangerously ill gunshot wound perforating cranium will furnish progress report when received. Base records. On 24 Dec 1916 son Henry Joseph FITZMAURICE died of wounds in Rouen, France.

30 Jun 1917 - War Pensions Act, Daily Statement (Military) re Fitsmaurice, Henry Joseph, 6016, Pte, 12th Batt, deceased. Name and address of person for whom pension claimed: Ella Catherine Mary - Kimberley (sister) Granted ?/- p.f. from 15/3/17; Same for Leonard Keaven FITZMAURICE (brother) Trustee: Fitzmaurice, Ellen, Kimberley (Mother). Also Ellen FITZMAURUCE (mother) granted 16/- p f from 2/3/17.

1 Mar 1918 - War Pensions Act, Daily Statement (Military) re Fitsmaurice, Henry Joseph, 6016, Pte, 12th Batt, deceased. Name and address of person for whom pension claimed: Fitzmaurice, Ellen, Kimberley (Mother). Result: Red fr 40/- to 16/- p f fr 14/3/18 [which I translate to mean her pension will be “reduced from forty shillings to sixteen shillings per fortnight from 14 March 1918”]

Australia, Electoral Rolls, 1903-1980 for Leonard Keven Fitzmaurice Tasmania 1922 and 1928 Wilmot Deloraine - of Kimberley, labourer. Only other Fitzmaurice at Kimberley is Ellen, domestic duties, presumably his mother. And in 1922 only, Frank Henry of Kimberly, labourer.
