Research Notes

ancestry.com Message Board - Looking for info on Malachi, Bryan, Mary, Catherine, Honora O’BRIEN born Cappamore 1830-1850. All went to Tasmania, Australia. Malachi was my GGGrandfather, I’ve been unable to trace them in ireland. [7]

ancestry.com message board - Re: O’Brien married to Dwyer in 1870’s - I have a John and Johanna Dwyer immigrating from Ireland via the ship Maitland to Tasmania 1854-- settling in the Westbury area and then Latrobe. Apparently her maiden name was Burke. They had 12 children and many years after her husband died she married my g.g.grandfather Henry Cook who was previously married to Honora O’Brien. [8]
