Biography

Hiram Cole was born on 14 Dec 1818 in New Brunswick, son of Ambrose Cole (1787–1857) and Elizabeth Palmer (1793–1872).

Research Notes

Moses was brought to Atlanta on the train by his older brother who died on the train. That older brother is assumed to be Hiram. Since Moses was born in 1836 and living in Sackville in 1851 and married in Georgia in 1861, the train trip must have taken place between 1851 and 1861.
