Biography

Christian, daughter of Samuel Clutterbuck, was named in her father’s will dated 1752.^[1]

As Christian Clutterbuck of the parish of St Peter, spinster, she was married to Bartholomew Hanly of Galway town, gent, by licence dated 6 March 1758.^[2]

She was named in the will of her brother Thomas Clutterbuck in 1774.^[3]

She was living in 1783 when she was a defendant (along with her children, and various others) in an Irish Chancery suit.^[4]

Research Notes

Possibly also named in 1785, although that might be a Christopher Hanly.^[5]
