On 23 December 1703, his widow Hannah was granted the letter of administration of his estate. His inventory was taken on 20 December 1703 in Scituate and recorded in Plymouth.[3]
On 1 March 1707/08, William Barstow, his children's guardian signed a distribution agreement made by the heirs of his father.[4]
