Eleanor had died before 1458, when her husband was recorded as having remarried the widow of Ralph Basset of Blore, Staffordshire.[1]
On 14 December 1462 Nicholas Mountgomery, junior, son and heir of Eleanor Mountgomery, deceased, late the wife of Nicholas Mountgomery, his father, granted the remainder expectant upon the death of his father of a certain pasture called "Heymys" near Coldmorton in the fee of Chebsey.[2]
