Biography

Josephine Ludlow Chase was born 3 July 1849 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Salmon Portland Chase and his third wife, Sarah Bella Dunlop "Belle" Ludlow Chase.

Josephine Ludlow Chase died in Morristown, New Jersey 27 July 1850 at one year and 24 days of age. Her mother, Belle, had travelled to a New Jersey sanitarium for her health and Josephine accompanied her. Josephine was buried in Cincinnati.
