Previous versions of this profile claimed, citing online trees,[1] which might possibly be relying on Threlfall's theory[2] that Priscilla, wife of John Ramsdell, was daughter of Aquila Chase and Martha Jelliman. That couple's children's baptisms are recorded and do not include a daughter Priscilla.[3]
Ian Watson, with support of Christopher Child, explored the possibility that Priscilla was a daughter of Aquilla Purchase, but DNA tests disproved that possibility.[4]
Priscilla was born about 1612.
She married John Ramsdell.
She passed away in 1675.
