Mary Charles was born in England prior to her father's immigration to America. Her mother is unknown, albeit, there are records for a Mary Charles being christened by parents John and Margaret Charles at the time of her birth. Records of her being born in the CT are incorrect, as her father had not yet immigrated. The story goes that she was with her father when he immigrated, on the same ship with Sarah (Moss) Geer. Sarah's husband perished on the trip over, and Charles married Sarah shortly after their arrival in New England. Most of this history can be found in sources for John Charles Biography
Per her father's will, she was no longer alive when he died.
