Biography

Daniel Chadwick was born on September 15, 1711 in Scituate, Plymouth, Massachusetts. He was the son of John Chadwick and Mary Verin Chadwick.^[1]

He married Hannah Meader (Meder) on March 23, 1731 in Nantucket, Nantucket, Massachusetts.^[2] They had eight children.

Daniel died in a Quaker home in North Carolina in 1750.^{[citation needed]}

In the inventory of the estate of Daniel Chadwick in 1750 were the following books: a Bible, Seller's Practical Navigation, a Nocturnal, Thompson's Poems, Stodder's Arithmetic, and a Vade Mecum.^[3]
