William Chadwick was born in about 1800. He was the eldest son of John Craven Chadwick and Elizabeth Cooper.

He lived at Ballinard, County Tipperary, Ireland.

William married Wilhelmina Augusta Seymour in February 1832.

Limerick Chronicle 25 February 1832, page 3:

On Thursday at the Cathedral of Emly, William, eldest son of John Craven Chadwick, Esq. of Ballinard, to Wilhelmina Augusta, daughter of the late Rev. John Seymour, of Tipperary, and niece to Sir M. Seymour, Bart.^[1]

They had at least two daughters.

His wife Wilhelmina died on 11 December 1836.

He married, secondly, his cousin Charlotte Bourchier on 22 December 1847 at St. Peter, Dublin South, Ireland^[2].

Marriage Notice

Clare Journal, and Ennis Advertiser 06 January 1848, page 3:

William Chadwick, of Ballinard, county Tipperary, Esq., to Charlotte, daughter of the late John Bourchier, Esq., of Baggotstown, county Limerick.^[3]

They had a stillborn son on 26 July 1850, as was reported on page 3 of the Dublin Evening Mail dated 2 August 1850^[4].

His father John died in 1851. Sadly his married daughter Katherine died on 12 December 1855, soon after the birth of her son.

His second wife Charlotte died on 17 January 1874.

William died in 1876.
