Biography
Stephen Cave , son of the banker Daniel Cave and Frances Locock, was born on 28 December 1820 and baptised on 9 March 1821 in Mangotsfield, St James, Gloucestershire.[1]
He held property in London at 35 Wilton Place, Hanover Square, at Cleve Hill, Mangotsfield, Gloucestershire and Sidbury Manor near Sidmouth in Devon.[2]
Sir Stephen died on 6 June 1880 at Chambéry, Savoie and his estate passed probate on 19 July 1880 in Bristol.[2]
