Participating in actions at Licking, Mo., May 4, 1862. Crow's Station, near Licking, May 26, 1862. Scout in Wayne, Stoddard and Dunklin Counties, Mo., August 20-27, 1862. Duty in District of Southeast Missouri till July, 1862. Steele's operations against Little Rock, Ark., July 1-September 10. Capture of Little Rock September 10 and duty there till February, 1864. Rejoined Regiment at Vicksburg, Miss., February, 1864.

Regiment lost during service 3 Officers and 40 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 Officer and 220 Enlisted men by disease. Total 264.
