Biography

Catherine Julia Cassin was baptized at the age of 5 days on 4 Feb 1853 in the parish of Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier, the daughter of Thomas Cassin and Bridget ONeill.[1]

In the 1861 census Catherine (age 8) lived in Valcartier (St. Gabriel), Québec, Canada East (Quebec).[2]

Catherine married Eugene O'Sullivan, widower of Mary Woodlock, on 12 Nov 1879 in the parish of Saint-Roch-de-Québec.[3]

In the 1910 census Catherine (age 56) was the widowed head of household in Ashland Ward 8, Ashland, Wisconsin.[4] She was the mother of 7 children and had immigrated to the United States in 1907.
