Dorothy (Casley) Lester was born in Western Australia, Australia

Dorothy Merle Casley was born on the 12 October 1910 in the Town of Boulder, near the Town of Kalgoorlie, Goldfields Region, Western Australia, Australia^[1]. She was the daughter of William Lawrie Casley and Emily Harriett "Dot" Mead.

Dorothy married Bervin Theodore Reginald Henry Lester in 1927 in the Town of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, Australia^[2].

By 1937, Bervin Theodore and Dorothy Merle were living at 38 McDonald Street, in Kalgoorlie, where he worked at the Government Railway^[3]. According to the Electoral Roll of 1949, the couple were still residing there. However, after Bervin's death in 1958, Dorothy moved to the City of Perth, in Western Australia. She passed away there on the 25 June 1995 and was cremated at the Karrakatta Cemetery and Crematorium, Railway Parade, Karrakatta, City of Perth, Western Australia and her ashes taken by the Funeral Director^[4].
