Biography

Leonard was born in 1911. He is the son of George Carpenter-Garnier and Helen Gregory.

He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant and gained the rank of Colonel in the Devon and Dorset Regiment. He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire and lived at , Beverley ,Wickham in Hampshire. He held the office of High Sheriff of Hampshire in 1967
