I am happy to assist anyone with Cornish and possibly Shropshire relations
On my father's side his descendants came from Shropshire,Staffordshire and Worcestershire With at least four families from North Wales The most prominent family would be the Mainwarings who can be traced back to around 1020 in Normandy/France
On my mother's side they come from Cornwall, Devon, Gloucestershire and Somerset My 4 × times Great Grandmother is Jane Prideaux of Camborne and through her lineage can be traced back to circa 1040 to Paganus Prydas akka Pridyas who according to the Norman Scribes was the Lord of Prideaux at the time of the Conquest More like a tribal leader who seemed to retain and allowed to keep his territory in Cornwall probably on condition he acted as a coastguard against a possible invasion or from Pirates But he could have a possible French/Norman connection as his Grandsons name were Baldwin, Richard which were Norman Christian Names
Later on the Family changed their surname to the more Norman sounding Name Prideaux which definitely benefited as they married into some very prominent Norman Families

There are several schools of thought on this, but most prefer 1) not using a punctuation mark (like a period) and 2) spelling it out. The prefix field allows 10 characters, so you may spell out Reverend. My personal preference is to use the honorific (Rev) since when, for example, addressing a letter, no one (I believe) would address the letter to "Reverend So and So" but to Rev. So and So. So, personally, I would use "Rev" in the prefix field and make sure "Reverend" is used somewhere in the bio.
Does that help?
There are also lots of good questions and answers in G2G. If you navigate there using the search bar, you can type in almost anything and get back lots of questions and answers that have been posted.
Glad to help.

Susan
I believe the appropriate abbreviation for Major General, for the prefix field, is Maj Gen.
Be sure and check Wikitree's style guide for use of background images on a profile. I believe I remember some talk about limiting or not using a background...but I could be wrong.
