Delta Burke is an American actress and author. Her most remarkable role was that of "Suzanne Sugarbaker" on the TV sitcom Designing Women. She had many other roles, including that of "Mrs. Claus" in the live-action Christmas movie, The Year Without A Santa Claus.
Delta Ramona Leah Burke was born in 1956 in Orlando, Orange, Florida, United States to Jean Burton, a single mother. She was later adopted by Frederick Burke after he married her mother.
Delta is married to actor Gerald McRaney.
