Glenn Lawrence Burke was a Major League Baseball (MLB) player for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Oakland Athletics from 1976 to 1979. He was the first MLB player to come out as gay, announcing it in 1982 after he retired. He is also credited for invented the high five along with fellow player Dusty Baker.

Glenn was born in 1952. He passed away in 1995.
