"Unfortunately, no contemporaneous records remain with any information about Harrison's. wife. Not even her first name is known, although a report claiming to be based on a journal the Rev. Thomas Harrison, a great-great-grandson, says she was Sarah Frances Burdette." [Five Generations of the Family of Burr Harrison of Virginia, 1650-1800, by John P. Alcock, p.24]

Wikidata (Q98100189) calls her Sarah, citing Ancestry of Barack Obama, 2006 and 2007 by William Addams Reitwiesner.

Research Notes

Sarah was born in 1636. She passed away about 1698.[citation needed]

From a biography of Burr Harrison, Maryland Genealogies, Vol. I:[1]

"According to family records he married Frances Burdette of Maryland and had several children. A grant of land in 1698 shows that he also married the widow of William Mansbridge who died in Stafford Co., in 1697."

Possible parents:

From Ancestry:[2] Sarah Burditt, daughter of Ralph and Anne Burditt, baptized 23 Feb 1642, St Dunstan and All Saints, Stepney Tower Hamlets, Middlesex, England (1637-1657)[3]
A search of freereg.org on 27 July 2020 for a Sara or a Frances baptized in England between 1635 and 1645 returned one in London: Frances, daughter of William and Susan Burdett, baptized 19 April 1635 in London (City).[4]
Parents that had been attached to a merged profile, which cited Yates:[5] and O'Brien:[6] William Cuthbert Burdette (abt.1600-1643) and Frances (Pendlebury) Burdette (abt.1615-abt.1645).

Burdette-97 and Burdette-10 appear to represent the same person because: these were set as an unmerged match, but they look like a match to me. Please merge (or explain how they're different people). Thanks!
