Biography

Harry was born on the 23rd December 1885, son of John Bunn (1856 - 1935) and Matilda Ann (Nobbs) Bunn (1854 - >1949).^[1][2]

1891 Census on the 5th April 1891 Harry was living at 15 Buchanan Street, Bromley, London with his parents John and Matilda and his siblings Beatrice, Edith and Matilda.^[3]

In the 1901 census Harry (age 15) was a son in Bromley, London, England.^[4]

In the 1911 census Harry (age 25), Railway Clerk, was the single son of John Bunn at 15 Burcham St, Poplar E, Poplar, England.^[5]

Harry married Edith Elizabeth Allaston (1879 - 1948) and the marriage was registered in the 3rd quarter 1914 in Poplar, Middlesex.^[6]

In the 1921 census Harry (age 35), Goods Clerk, was the married head of household at 29 Selwyn Avenue, Highams Park, Walthamstow, Essex & London, England.^[7]

Harry's father John Bunn died in 1935 and he and is wife Edith attended the funeral.

John Bunn's funeral took place in Bulmer, Essex on the 9th May 1935 according to the local paper. BULMER. THE FUNERAL took place the parish church on Thursday afternoon of Mr. John Bunn, aged 78 years. The Rector officiated. The family mourners were: Mrs. Bunn (widow), Misses Beatrice and Matilda and Mrs. Edith Macey (daughters), Mr. and Mrs. H. Bunn (son and daughter-in-law), Mr. H. Macey (son in-law), Frank and Stanley Macey (grandsons), Miss L. Bunn (niece), Miss K. Nokes (cousin), Miss S. Bunn (cousin). Beautiful floral tributes were sent. Mr. A. T. Green (Sudbury), was the undertaker.^[8]

1939 National Register on the 29th September 1939 Harry a railway clerk, was living at 29 Selwyn Avenue, Wanstead, Essex with his wife Edith.^[2]
