Biography

Beatrice was born on the 19th May 1881, daughter of John Bunn (1856 - 1935) and Matilda Ann (Nobbs) Bunn (1854 - >1949), and her birth was recorded in the 2nd quarter 1881 in Poplar, Middlesex.^[1]

1891 Census on the 5th April 1891 Beatrice was living at 15 Buchanan Street, Bromley, London with her parents John and Matilda and her siblings Edith, Matilda and Harry.^[2]

1901 Census on the 31st March 1901 Beatrice a housemaid, was living at 15 Buchanan Street, Bromley, London with her parents John and Matilda and her siblings Edith and Harry.^[3]

In the 1911 census Beatrice (age 29), Housemaid Domestic, was the single servant of Margaret Bawnatyre at 15 Earl's Court Square, Kensington, London S W, Kensington, England.^[4]

In the 1921 census Beatrice was the friend of Sarah Woodward at 35 Norah Street, Bethnal Green, London & Middlesex, England.^[5]

Beatrice's father John Bunn died in 1935 and she attended the funeral. John Bunn's funeral took place in Bulmer, Essex on the 9th May 1935 according to the local paper. BULMER. THE FUNERAL took place the parish church on Thursday afternoon of Mr. John Bunn, aged 78 years. The Rector officiated. The family mourners were: Mrs. Bunn (widow), Misses Beatrice and Matilda Bunn and Mrs. Edith Macey (daughters), Mr. and Mrs. H. Bunn (son and daughter-in-law), Mr. H. Macey (son in-law), Frank and Stanley Macey (grandsons), Miss L. Bunn (niece), Miss K. Nokes (cousin), Miss S. Bunn (cousin). Beautiful floral tributes were sent. Mr. A. T. Green (Sudbury), was the undertaker.^[6]

In the 1939 National Register Beatrice (age 58), Unpaid Domestic Duties, was recorded as single in Halstead, Essex, England.^[7]

Beatrice died on the14th September 1968 in Essex and her estate passed probate on the 13th December 1968 in London.^[8]
