Biography

He was born about 1740 in Edgecombe, North Carolina and was the son of Mary Patience (Joyner) and David Bunn.

By 1765 Benjamin Bunn had married Eleanor? Burwell. [1]

Benjamin Bunn married about 1774 in Halifax, North Carolina to Millicent M. (Warren) Andrews.

He was a member of the Halifax Brigade #3 of Edgecombe County, North Carlina, under Captain James Gray.

Afterwards he was commissioned Captain at Wilmington, North Carolina on 11 June 1776, in the American Revolutionary War service.

He was mentioned in the 1784 Will of his father, David Bunn (1720-1784, m: to Mary Joyner). [2]

He passed away about 1813 in Nash County, North Carolina, USA.
