Capt. James Bulloch was born 1765 in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia, United States to Archibald Bulloch (1730-1777) and Mary DeVeaux (1744-1818) and died 9 February 1806 in Georgia, United States of unspecified causes. He married Isabel Anne Irvine (1770-1812) 13 April 1786 .[2]
He was a captain of the Virginia state garrison troops in the Continental Army,[3] 1778-81 and later in life a clerk of the superior and of the inferior courts of Georgia.
He married, Apr 13, 1786, Ann Irvine (1770-18100, daughter of Dr. John and Ann Elizabeth (Baillee) Irvine[4]Dr. John Irvine, head of the Georgia medical society. [3]
