Also living in the home is 20 yr old servant, Hilda Johnson. Mertice’s father, William is a Horse Dealer.

1920 U S Census ^[3]- 15 yr old Mertice is living in Ludington Michigan (Mason Co) on E Ludington Ave with her parents, William H and Jane (Wilson) Buck and brothers, Wilson H (20 yrs) and David L (16 yrs). Mertice’s father, William is a Life insurance salesman.

October 17, 1938 - Mertice’s father, William H Buck died in Ludington, Michigan (Mason Co).

April 22, 1940 - Mertice visited her brother, Dr Wilson H Buck in Winslow, IL.

1940 U S Census ^[8]- Mertice could not be located on a 1940 Census record. The 1940 Census record was reviewed for Ludington, Michigan, Ward 2 and it showed Loraine M Belland as owning the home and living at 603 E Ludington Ave. It also said she was at the same house in 1935. The listing is on page 20 of the census. Also, on page 43 of the same census, it lists two lodgers at the home (Marris D Lyon and JE Lyon). (This matches the information that the 2016 owners of the home, Bill & Judy Trim have, that the Belland family previously owned the house, note though, Loraine Belland is listed as living at 410 W Loomis in a 1935 City Directory)

1942-1951 - Mertice is living with William and Isabelle Ebersole as a member of the family

May 1, 1951 ^[9][10]- Mertice E Buck died in Ludington, Michigan (Mason Co.). She is buried in Lakeview Cemetery in Ludington.
