Cynthia Diana Bryant was born on July 10, 1956 in Dalton, Whitfield, Georgia, United States, daughter of Watson Quinn Bryant (1926–1988) and Nadine Theresa Corbin (1927–2016).

Her siblings were:

Cynthia (27) and Stephen Norwood Crafton (27) were married on March 3, 1984 in Volusia, Florida, United States.[1] Steve was born on August 20, 1956 in Buxton, Dare, North Carolina, United States. He was the son of John William Crafton and Myrtle Lorena (Pearson) Crafton.

My brother Jack was 9 years older than me and quite a character. Unbeknownst to me, my dad (whom I adored) had been married before he married my mother and had 2 sons. This came to light long after my dad had died. I was going through some papers and found a divorce decree from a court in neighboring Bradley County Tennessee. When I questioned my mother about it she said, that she knew about it but he would never talk about it. I couldn't find anything about this ex-wife. THEN, I got an email from a girl who said she thought we were related. We are! She is my niece! We have become great friends, I have met a whole different part of my family, a brother, niece, nephew, inlaws, even Dad's first wife-she is 96 years old. (She won't talk about it either!) Unfortunately, my oldest brother passed away before we met. But, I've come to know him through my niece and sister in-law. Oh, how I wish we could have been a family all along!

Hi Cynthia,

Thanks for having a Big Heart and adopting Orphan Profiles. You will want to read this After adopting orphans FAQ to understand what to do next and it explains the special attention those profiles need.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Hi Cynthia,

I noticed that you used the Challenge Tracker to track a change during a recent Saturday Sourcing Sprint. Please consider officially joining us for the Saturday Sourcing Sprints. You can find information on the rules and how to join on the Sprints Help page. Let me know if you have any questions.

No pressure, every profile with a source makes our WikiTree better, but only registered sprinters can compete for the winner's badge. Your work will continue to be included in Tracking Sheet's Unregistered total at the bottom of the help page if you do not register.

Your work is appreciated. Thanks for sourcing!

Hi Mel,

I thought I was recording an entry for the connect-a-thon. Sorry if I messed up. I can't keep up with all the competition activities/promotions. They're a great idea, just a little overwhelming (confusing to WT newbies) when there are so many to choose from.

Again, sorry. Have a blessed day. Cindy

No worries, Cynthia - it happens all the time. We just like to check in case someone intended to register. Thanks for all your work to improve WikiTree, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Thanks, Mel

Hello Cynthia,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Hi Cynthia! Thanks so much for joining the South Central Appalachia Team of the Appalachia Project. I look forward to working with you.

I just posted a comment to the Team page - if you're looking for details about work being done/needing to be done, please take a look (and I apologize in advance for its length).

If you have any questions or suggestions, post them to the team page or send me a private message. See the Membership page for info about a Member sticker (let me know if you have questions about stickers too).

Welcome to the project & the team!

Cheers, Liz Team Leader, South Central Appalachia Team

Welcome to Wikitree Cynthia,

We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.

Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.

Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.
