I read a letter from one David Brooke of Brookeville, MD, to my mother, Janice Elizabeth Brooke. This letter noted that Ignatius Brooke, among many others, became Jesuit priests. The family was full of ecclesiastics in Britain and the Church of England adherents had high church advocates.
