John Jacob Bowers was born 19 Jan 1777, in Rowan, North Carolina. His parents were Jacob Bowers and Catherine Myers. He married Margaret Elizabeth Myers 30 Mar 1798, in Rowan, North Carolina. He then married Mary Ann Cole Bowers 20 May 1821, in Salem, New Jersey. John Jacob Bowers passed away 9 Jan 1836, in his hometown at the age of 58, and was buried in the Emanuel Reformed Church Cemetery, in Thomasville, Davidson County, North Carolina.[1][2][3]
