Willis Reese Bowen was one of the first settlers in Amber Valley, Alberta, Canada. His home, Obadiah Place, is a historic site.[1]
Willis Reese Bowen was born in Alabama 1875. He was the son of Sytha and Reese Bowen.
In the 1926 census Willis Bowen (age 51) was the married head of household in Athabasca, Alberta, Canada.[2]
He died in 1975 and is buried in Amber Valley Jordan W. Murphy Cemetery in Amber Valley, Alberta, Canada.[3]
