Biography

Based on the date of birth of her first husband (1617), Martha Bourne was probably born sometime in 1617-1622, with about 1619 being most likely. The 2004 edition of the Bradford Silver Book indicates that she was born "prob. England ca. 1614" and that she died "between 20 Feb. 1679/80 and 1683"[1]

According to the Genealogy of Thomas Tracy of Norwich, Connecticut, Martha married secondly Thomas Tracy, page 15: "Lieutenant Thomas Tracy's second wife, married at Norwich about 1678, was Martha Bourne, daughter of Thomas Bourne, of Marshfield, Massachusetts, and widow of John Bradford.”
