Biography
This profile is part of the Boudreau Name Study.
Aimé was born on August 1, 1853, and baptized the next day as recorded in the Barachois church register. He was the son of Ambroise Boudreau and Marguerite Thibodeau. Parents listed as Ambroise Boudrot and Marguerite Arseneau (see Research Note). Godparents were André Boudrot and Marie Boudrot.
He married Marie Olive Desrosiers on 7 January 1878 in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick and they were the parents of 1 son and 5 daughters prior to his death.
Aimé died 10 May 1895 and was buried on the 11th in Sacré Coeur Cemetery in Haute-Aboujagane, Westmorland, New Brunswick[1][2] and the last of their 7 children, a daughter, was born 4 months later.
His widow remarried in 1899 and lived until 1937.
Research Note
Apart from Aimé's baptism, I have not been able to find any documentation that supports the existence of a Marguerite Arseneau married to an Ambroise Boudrot. I believe that the priest made an error and wrote in Arseneau instead of Thibodeau. (Renaud LeBlanc)
