[1] Joseph was born in 1708 and passed away in 1776. He was married twice.

Joseph Boucher was born and baptized the same day on 7 Jul 1708 at Notre-Dame-de-Liesse in Rivière-Ouelle. His parents were Pierre Boucher and Marie Madeleine Dancosse. His godparents were Joseph Lissot and Geneviève Dancosse (his maternal aunt), spouse of Pierre Berrubey. [2]

On 25 Nov 1737 Joseph Bouché, son of Pierre Bouché and Marie Catherine [sic] Dancosse, married Reine Lizot, daughter of Noël Lizot and Catherine Meneux, at Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière. [3]

His 1st wife died in 1744.

On 12 Oct 1745, Joseph Boucher, son of the late Pierre Boucher and Marie Madeleine Dancosse (his prior wife was not mentioned), married Madeleine Fortin, daughter of François Fortin and Madeleine Richard, at St-Ignace-du-Cap-St-Ignace. [4]

Joseph Boucher died on 1 Dec 1776 and was buried on 2 Dec at Notre-Dame-de-Liesse in Rivière-Ouelle. He was reported aged 70 years. [5]
