Biography

When Gabriel Boissy was born on June 2, 1794, in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada, his father, Gabriel, was 26 and his mother, Marie, was 23. He married Josephte "Josette" Bertrand on January 7, 1818, in Sandwich, Ontario, Canada. They had 11 children in 24 years. He died on May 15, 1845, in Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 50, and was buried there.
