Joan married Cecil Gordon Conrad ("Buddy") ARNOLD, son of a male, name unknown and Ethel Ada May ARNOLD, on 25 November 1939 in Hillston, New South Wales, Australia ^[3].

Buddy was born on 10 July 1914 in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia and died on 30 November 1946 in Wangaratta, Victoria, Australia at age 32.

They had two children: Gordon Conrad and Dennis Clyde.

Joan next married Robert Arnold ("Arnold") SCHUCK, son of Robert Edward SCHUCK and Evelyn White Victoria CUNNEEN, in 1963 in Hamilton (R/D), New South Wales, Australia ^[4].
