Biography

Samuel was born in 1684. He is the son of Samuel Bliss and Anne Elderkin.^[1]

He married Sarah Packard/Packer on 11 July 1723 in Bridgewater, Massachusets.^[2]

Probate

His will is dated 13 September 1763 and proved on 30 September 1763 in Norwich. He mentions his wife Sarah, his son, John, and his daughters, Desire, wife of George Dennison, Thankful, wife of Benjamin Dennis, Freelove, wife of Josiah Corning, and Mindwell, wife of Daniel Rockwell.^[3]

His inventory was completed on 30 July 1764 in Norwich.^[4]
