Masten Bishop, son of Ezekiel and Nancy (Street) Bishop, born abt 1805, SC, prob. Edgefield Co., md Nancy Street (don't know if there is a relationship between his wife and mother), born abt 1814, TN, prob. Lincoln Co., dau. of Solomon and Mary (Armstrong) Street of Jasper Co. MS. They are in Newton Co. MS in 1850 and 1860 census. Children in their household in 1860 were Kender (1850 census) or Krnuol (1860 census), James, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Eliza, Harriet, Amanda, Masten, Sarah, Julia (twin) and Malissa (twin). Haven't found them in the 1870 census. Any information on this family will be greatly appreciated.[5]

Directions: Unable to locate these two abandoned cemeteries in spite of concerted efforts by many people both within and outside the organization We were informed by two sources that one of these cemeteries was on land owned by a large timber company and the site was leveled into a ravine by heavy equipment-Hopefully this can be disproved by someone coming forth with precise locations of these two lost cemeteries.
According to published early Jasper County history two cemeteries were once present within a mile of the old Missionary settlement
